Once the poles were all setup and ready to go, we hopped in the van and headed down to a fishing spot on the lake. The boys anxiously fished and got frustrated with the underbrush off the shore where we were at...so we walked around a little to find new spots. Mom and the new arrivals showed up shortly and we hung out for a while at this spot. No luck though.
Soon, we decided to head around the bend a bit more to see if there was anything biting over there. It was a nice point, but we weren't catching anything. Everyone had a great time though! The views were spectacular, the weather was amazing...just nice to be out at the lake for a while. It was super windy though, so half my pics are blurry! Holding still in that wind...ugh!
JC, Holly and Sue stayed a while and JC ended up catching a fish...but throwing it back. The rest of us headed back to the camp to get happy hour started...it was about that time!
