So the original plan was to stop in Salt Lake City and spend the night...but it was still so early when we got there, it didn't make sense for us to waste an evening there, when we knew we just wanted to get to Jackson. So, we made the last minute command decision to keep trekking. Well, we cleared it with Brent since he insisted on driving the ENTIRE way...and he was still good...so we kept going. Trip was good until about an hour outside of Jackson...when those of us still awake started to get super antsy! Especially the driver. Can't blame him though...it had been a long day & all we wanted was to get out and have a nice drink! Well, on the road Mom & I got on our phones to look for a hotel to stay at when we got into town. We got a great deal on the Wort Hotel. It is a historic hotel in downtown Jackson. Gorgeous, and super cute & quaint.
Once we got in, we bypassed the drinks and just went straight to bed!
Thought it was a nice touch that all the rooms had beautiful roses in them.
