After our day of touring, we headed back to the campsite, right after a quick trip to the store to get some ice & fishing licenses for the kiddos & guys. Of course Mom had to buy all the kids a present while we were in the store. It was getting chilly in the shade, but sooo nice still.
Once we got back to the campsite, Sue, JC, and Holly had just arrived. They were setting up their tent & sleeping arrangements. We unpacked some more stuff, and started setting up the fishing poles to take to the lake. The kiddos, Vince, Dad and I headed to the lake to catch something. Mom hung out with the new arrivals and Alisa needed to take a nap. She had a crazy occurrence of altitude sickness last night. We all debated whether she was either pregnant or drank too much scotch & whiskey with us last night. Some people drank too much, but didn't seem like she did, so we were thinking prego. Hmmm... (update on that one so as not to spread rumors...no go on the prego). Anyways, she was still a little outta it, so wanted to chill at the campsite and take a nap.
When we got back, there was a big elk walking around the campsite. Soooo cute!
Gorgeous views!! I love this... |
