We would have eaten dirt at this point - we were starved! Heading back into town, we exited at this one little town that looked like it might have some eating spots, but it didn't. It had some cool houses and little fishing villages though so it was neat to see just a regular suburban area outside of Manama.
Once we got back into town, the first food spot we saw was a KFC!! SOLD. We literally wanted anything at this point, including water...or something to drink. KFC had to do.
So that's it folks - our first Bahrainian meal was KFC :) Foodie fail!
