After we got back to the room, we decided to take advantage of the completely empty pool, and swim up bar! The entire area was empty and open for another hour or so, so we changed quickly and headed down to make friends with the bartender! We ended up staying for quite a while, making the best of our extreme jet lag that was starting to kick in, and had a few drinks with the bartender. He had moved there from Philippines, and gave us a LOT of insight into the country, how it worked as far as jobs & citizenship, the pros & cons of living there....everything! It was actually amazing talking to him and finding out so much insider info that we would have never otherwise learned. Most people that live there are nice, but not too open with information about the way of life, or details about how things actually work.
