I don't even know where to start to explain this. Seoul ADEX was unlike anything I had been to before. In one sense it was very similar to a US airshow. Which is essentially what it is, on the weekend. During the week, it is a big exhibition for companies in the aerospace industry. All the big wigs were there, as well as many smaller companies as well. It was almost a little unreal. There were companies from all over the world there. The biggest ones were from Israel, India, Korea (of course), and the US as well. I guess I was surprised at the delegation from all the other countries & how advanced their technology seemed. (Sheltered American!)
As I wandered around, the first people I met were from Dillon Aero. Turns out, they are a subsidiary of Dillion Precision which is right down the street from me. Both of the guys live right around the corner from us, and their office is over by Scottsdale Airpark. Thought it was funny that they were the first people I meet, and only people from the entire west coast!
I worked the booth while the guys would wander, and each time, someone important came up to me to talk about their product. It was crazy! I met a lot of really cool people there today, and by the end of the day, my feet were KILLING me. It was a looooong day. We had a driver that dropped us off and was there to pick us up at the gates at 5....so that was nice!!

Sunset in Seoul. There was always so much haze in the sky that you could see the sun so clearly like this all day. |
