10.19.2015: Itaewon Shopping

When the guys got back from the trade show, we decided we had a few hours before dinner so we should get out an explore more.  As if I hadn't had enough walking yet already.

So, we took a cab over to Itaewon.  This part of town is like Canal St in NYC.  It is where you find all the illegal knock-off shops and cheap outlet areas.  It is very unique and bustling.  While we didn't find much of what we were looking for, we did find a couple hidden back door, secret shops with purses & watches.  No where near the quality you find in NYC, but still find just checking it all out.  Mark had never experienced this before, so he was having a blast.  We got shoved into a couple back rooms with the doors locked behind us.  Vince and I knew the deal, so expected it.  Mark was a little alarmed at first.

We didn't buy too much today.  We got our quota of fun socks, and some other knick-knacks.  We hoped the next few days would be more successful in finding what we needed!

The power grid system in these areas was unbelievable!!!
