07.11.2010: The Last Happy Hour...and Dinner Entry #3

Our last night of happy hour is always the best....the goal is to get rid of the remaining alcohol. I know it sounds like we spend most of the trip drinking, but we really dont....we spend most of it hydrating!! I just don't take pictures of that! Haha! Anyways, our last happy hour we all kinda go all-out since we know it is our last night on the lake. Very sad for most of us :( Depression already starts setting in...which explains why we need to drink.

The last dinner entry (and the best) was Vince and I. Vince made his famous spicy chicken & sausage on the grill....and rice & red beans...and salad. Delish! Need I say anything else....Vince is reigning champion...and defended his title well! Don't really know what a houseboat trip would be without the famous chicken!! The best part of our dinner competition is that everyone brings their best....and everyone benefits by amazing meals!! Again, everyone is a winner :)

After dinner, we all headed to the top deck to take group pics, and play a little Lake Mead trivia. Event Coordinator Alisa planned a Lake Mead trivia game. Very interesting factoids about the Lake, Hoover Dam, and surrounding areas. Some knew the facts....and most didnt! I dont remember all the questions, but they were really very interesting!
