07.10.2010: Day 2 Begins...Skiing, Naps, SeaDooing, and MAN TUBE

Day 2 began with a gorgeous morning sunrise after a cool evening of sleeping outside and getting a light rain. Started the day with drinking coffee and eating a great breakfast....then the sunscreen got lathered on and we hit the beach! We didn't tube at all...but did do a little skiing behind the SeaDoo. The boat was having some mechanical issues....a spark plug blew out...literally shot a hole in the engine cover. So, Brent, Scott and Dad spent a while working on that.

The kids did what the kids do...play in the water, take turns riding the SeaDoo, digging holes, building sand castles, etc. The rest of us hung out in the water...took naps...water skiied....relaxed!!

The story behind Andrew wearing the sunglasses:

There was a dragonfly buzzing around and Brad made the comment about how Dragonflies eat eyeballs or something ridiculous...and Andrew took it very seriously and requested his sunglasses for the rest of the evening. No matter what we said, he wouldn't take off the glasses. Very serious & Uncle Kenny to protect him! :)
