The Sunday teams both went for the "Lakeside Dining" effect. Threatened by the theme concept that was presented for the Saturday night dinner, they had to stepup the game. Both the lunch and dinner teams employed the same technique of winning over the kids with the "Meal with a View" concept.
The lunch team, Christina & Lex, went with some shredded chicken sliders with sirachi aoli and sweet potato parmesan French fries. A winning meal, for sure!
The Brent & Alisa team were on for dinner. They went with a more Carribean theme, tapping into their trip to Jamaica earlier in the year. They did a cinnamon jerk chicken, macaroni and cheese (went American there), and a zucchini, squash and tomato side (tying in the farm-to-table idea with the fresh veggies from the gardens at home). Stiff competition here....
