Surprisingly, one of my favorite moments of these trips are the mornings. I am SOOOOO NOT a morning person. I actually pretty much despise mornings on a daily basis. However, I cannot wait for the sun to start breaking through so I can get up. I'm usually up when its still dark and just wait for the sun to come up so I can get up. (Granted, too many days of this makes me cranky...but a couple is very tolerable!!)
Seems like I'm always one of the first ones up...and try to drag Vince up with me. He is usually a good sport and is quick to follow once I am up. Literally I can't wait to get my camera and capture some early morning pics....and make coffee!! YUMM!!! Something about camping coffee is so delish! (Although this isn't technically "camping") I really just like being up and enjoying the silence and solitude of the early morning on the back of the boat. (Maybe its because I NEVER do it when I am home...so it truly is a treat....who knows?!)
