Sooo what are the chances that NKOTB is in Vegas the same night we are??!! Mom actually got free tickets with her room so gave them to Alisa and I to go to the concert. It was insane. I have never seen more middle aged women in one place before....all singing and dancing along to old NKOTB songs! When we got there, we just looked at each other like, oh no, this is NOT us!! I swear we didn't fit into this crowd at all. I don't know how we were listening to this music at the same time these women were. We thought we need to leave. BUT, we ended up getting into it just as much as they all did (ok, not really as much!), but we got into it! It was a lot of fun, and we NEVER go to concerts together, just us. So it was kinda cool.
Oh wait, I just realized that SOME people might not actually know who "NKOTB" is?! Unbelievable a little bit, I know, but they are one of the MOST popular boy bands of the 90's - New Kids On the Block...now known as NKOTB.
Did they look the same? Sound the same? Sound, yes...look, no! I would have to say that Donnie was by far, the star of the show. Jordan & Joey were them cool selves, but Donnie really stole the show. Danny & Jonathan weren't too into it all. They were all very engaging with the crowd, and played a TON of their new stuff. I knew a lot of it, but not as much as a I thought I would, surprisingly!
We had a great time, and some of the rest of the crew met up with us at Planet Hollywood after the concert to hang out. We ended up having a drink together, then we were ready to go back & go to bed. Already dreading the early morning! Damn we are old!!! (Not as old as those other women at the concert though!!! Haha!)
