On the road again..again!
We hit the road to head south to Las Cruces. It is only about 2 hours from ABQ, so not a bad drive at all. We met up with our employee at our site and went thru what we needed to...then headed to the hotel. I found a great deal & it tuned out to be one of the cutest hotels we have ever stayed at ....ever!!! We stayed at the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces. It seems so unassuming from the outside...but it is soooo cute inside!!!! Highly recommend. The restaurant is pretty darn good too!!

Sooo, what I failed to mention is that after "work" was done, we headed back up the road to Hatch! Hatch is not just a chili...it is a city...full of amazing chilis and foods. Being chili gurus, we had to hit Hatch!

After an afternoon of eating and driving, oh, and working too....we headed back to the hotel. We did a little scoping out of the city. I can see why people like it here. My great uncle used to live here, and I understand it. It is a really cute place. Gorgeous views, but small town feel. Loved it here....from what I saw anyways. Back at the hotel, we went and hung out in the bar to watch some football. By now, we were a little hungry again, so tried some of their local fare. WOW...amazing food here too!!!
Overall, New Mexico was an amazing experience!! I highly recommend travel there to anyone! Families, singles, couples, elders,....everyone! Such a great trip.
