Before meeting the guys for dinner, Vince and I went for a walk across the freeway (there is a walking bridge under the frwy), thru the fields, thru the forests of old military bunkers, and up to the flight line on the base. As we walked thru, you could see a ton of old military bunkers and abandoned buildings. I could just imagine them in action in WW2. You could tell some of them were still used, but they were hidden within the trees of the forest. I didn't take any pics of those because there were a ton of cameras up in the trees - in "birdhouses". It was crazy!! Very cool, but crazy. So we just walked along our little path to the flightline. Beautiful sunset tonight too!
