Kids waste no time once we get settled in. Well, actually even before that. While the guys are busy securing the boat & preparing for hurricane force winds, and the ladies are organizing the boat and making lunch, the kids are testing out the waters, and rocks and mud. This year there were actually a couple little pods of frogs, that they were absolutely fascinated with. Especially Avery. Fearless, and would go pick them up and walk around with them...some of them were pretty big too. Crazy girl.
Once we all got settled, and fed, the drinks started flowing and the games began. Kids wanted to test out the slide, so we all headed to the back of the boat. Not too much trickery off the slide or jumping off the top of the boat this year...it was pretty shallow out the back. In fact, all the adults could easily stand back there. Similar to last year.
After a few rounds of sliding by everyone, the kids were anxious for some tubing. So we headed off for Round 1. Waters were a little rough by this time in the afternoon so we weren't out long. We headed back in time for happy hour and to start up dinner!
