Vince and I went to Cali for Christmas this year. We got into town on Monday night, and got to hang out with Mom and Dad for a night before they headed to AZ for Christmas. We had a pretty untraditional Christmas this year for me. it was weird being in Riverside at Mom & Dad's house alone. Felt pretty empty, since this time of year, it is usually overflowing with people!
On Christmas Eve, Vince and I went out to dinner...at a restaurant. That was a first! Surprisingly, it was PACKED! Guess that is what a lot of people do. Seems so strange to me that you would go out to dinner on Christmas Eve, but I guess it just isn't what I am used to. We had a nice dinner, but it was a little sad not being with the entire family like usual.
Mom still puts these old ornaments that we made on the tree! Haha, love them! Should have taken pics of them all...there are only a few that have survived the years.
Went to go visit Gramma & Papa in the morning. Nice to see their gravesite was very festively decorated! The cemetery was packed. Lots of families there that looked like they were setup for the day.
