12.23.2016: Karaoke Cali Road Trip

Its about that time to hit the road to CA for our traditional Christmas in Riverside!!  My favorite place to spend this time of year.  I think more than anything, knowing this is probably the last time we will all be doing Christmas in Riverside, makes this all the more important & meaningful.  AND we will all be there.  So, we are very much looking forward to getting out there for a few days! 

The adults decided that we should get on the road as early as possible - 1. to avoid any potential traffic, and 2. just to get out there and get the party started.

Vince and I had the 2 girls in the Durango with us...Brent & Alisa had Barrett and Andrew in the Sequoia with them.  Once the girls woke up, we had karaoke hour! More like karaoke 4 hours.  Vince was in a Christmas song kinda mood, so we we on the search for all our favorites.  I was playing DJ and lining them up as the 3 of them requested them.  It was a TON of fun because it was a group singing event the entire time!  The girls (or Vince) never got tired of belting out some tunes.  Even though Nana looks bored in the video, she was hot on the request line. 

I think we heard Feliz Navidad about 30 times though.  That was one of the car favs. 

I was sending multiple videos to Alisa during the drive because I didn't think was playing Christmas Karaoke up there in the Sequoia! :)   Although the girls were both super animated when the video wasn't playing - they toned it down a LOT when they realized I was trying to record them.  Since when did these 2 become shy!?





Oh ya, we made them get up early!
