This morning Avery & I went to the doctor office with Alisa and I hung out with Tubs while she was in there. Avery got hungry waiting, so we decided to walk down the street to Kneaders Bakery for breakfast. It was about a 1/2 mile away, so no big deal. Avery's little legs did great!! She walked the entire way. I was prepared to carry her at some point, but she was perfect. She talked the entire walk, of course, but kept up the pace. Definitely earned whatever she wanted to eat! She ordered a egg, sausage, cheese croissant sandwich, cup of fruit, giant flower sugar cookie, and chocolate milk. And she ate all of it! Ok, well she shared her sandwich with me, and saved some cookie for her mom. Otherwise, she cleaned her plate. We had a blast sitting there waiting. She wanted to see pics of little Lennox on my phone so I showed her a bunch...then she wanted to take some pics of herself. (Think she got jealous!?) So we took about a million selfies together. So funny.
Alisa met us there, and ate too..then we headed home. I stayed with Avery at the house while Alisa went to work at the school. We put together puzzles, played with some dolls, colored elephants, and played hair & makeup salon. Well, she played...I sat there as her subject. She did my hair a million times, and put makeup on me to make me "super pretty". She did a great job until she REALLY wanted to put purple eyeshadow ALL over my face...because it would be "super pretty". Had to shut that down. Otherwise she is a pretty good makeup artist!!
