10.15.2010: Aspen Campground -- Day 1

Brent organized a little Durbin weekend camping trip....with the help of Mom and Dad of course! Kenny drove down from Flagstaff...we met them out from Scottsdale...Brent and Alisa drove out from Mesa...and Mom and Dad came from CA. The campground was one that Brent and Alisa had been to before and really liked. It was near Prescott...about 2 hours from each of our homes. And it was near a nice fishing lake too! We got a couple campsites next to each other and set up camp. It sprinkled a little the first day and was nice and chilly!! We were sooo excited for some cold, cold weather! It was supposed to be in the 30's at night and we were sooo ready for it!! The kids couldn't wait to go fishing, shoot their BB guns, and play in the woods. They made up their own "houses" and started playing make-believe. We had a GREAT campfire to keep us warm and sat around the fire drinking wine and telling stories.
