11.23.2011: Track Practice

So after we all had our days out, we all met up at Drake's track practice.  Darien & Justice wanted to practice with Drake and the coach let them "train" with him.  Darien, who is also a natural runner, did great and had a lot of fun doing all the drills and races with Drake.  Justice, who isn't as into running or track iteself, only lasted the first part of the practice.  When they went to run their warm-up lap around the track after they did their stretches & drills, Justice got about a quarter of the way around....looked back with the look of "What the?!....how did I get tricked into doing this!?"  And walked back over to the spectator section...done.  When we got there, Christina asked Justice if he liked track and wanted to do it when they got home (as in joining a track club) and he said "I already did track".  She said no, do you want to do it at home, and again he said "No, I already did track".  As in, no thanks, I did all the track I'm going to do for now...and later!!  It was pretty hilarious!  So, Darien and Drake finished out practice together.  They both did great and were neck & neck for most of the races.  Too bad they don't live closer, as they would be great motivation & competition for each other to continually push to get better.
