Weds morning we got up and dispersed into the city. I had planned a girls day with Thelma Hearn so she could teach the girls her secret recipes for Sweet Potato Pie and her famous Hearn Dressing. So, Sarah, Christina, Gabby and I all headed to her house for a day of cooking. The boys had their own plans which I will update on the next post.
We actually had a great day of cooking, learning, laughing, visiting, working....and just in general enjoying each other's company. It also gave the girls a great chance to spend quality time with their Grandma. A little later on, Karissa came over and brought some beverages (champagne)....and Jackie, Aleya, and Jonathan also stopped by for a quick visit. So we truly had a full day!!!
After we were exhausted from cooking, we left to run some errands and meet up the boys at Drake's track practice.
