11.27.2010: Saturday Night Crab Fest

On Saturday, we had an all-you-can-eat crabfest at our place. We hadn't done crab before for VJ, Sarah, or Lex....so was the perfect opportunity to have "our dinner" for everyone. Brian and Taylor never miss a crabfest....and Eric and Karissa are always game...even though Eric doesn't do crab, Karissa does....which means they will be there!! :) She had been anticipating this night for months. She even prayed to God to protect the little creatures and deliver them safely to our plates. Haha...

This was truly the only night we could have this, as Lex just flew back in this afternoon from Dallas. He had flown there for the Thanksgiving day Dallas football game. He had ticket months ago, before our plans for a turkey week at our place....so he flew out for the game & a Spurs game as well...then flew back Sat afternoon. The logistics were everything. E & K got Jan & Glenn to watch their kids....and Melysha watched all of ours for the night. Crabfest was truly a great night!! Not only the delishness of the food itself, but for the company, the "event" of grilling that Vince creates, and the mix of personalities and friendships all together.

11.26.2010: Friday Fun With The Durbins

Friday morning the boys went to a car show in downtown Phx with Glenn, Eric & Jason. The kids & girls hung out at the house and getting ready to go over to Brent's for the afternoon. We went over to take some group pics, so everyone could visit and catch up for a while, and have some drinks and appetizers. It was nice hanging out for a while. We didn't stay too long since the grown kids had plans for the evening, but it was nice being able to see everyone for Thanksgiving and take our Durbin family pics!

11.25.2010: After Party at Eric's

After we left Glenn & Jan, we went over to Eric & Karissa's house for a little after-party. The kids got to play a little more, adults had some apps and drinks...and we watched Mak dance...haha!! She LOVES to dance!

11.25.2010: Hearn Turkey Day Party

Glenn and Jan hosted the Thanksgiving dinner this year for the Hearns in AZ that could make it. We had a great time with delish food and drink.
