11.06.2009: Wedding Day - Seeing Each Other for the First Time

Now, we know the tradition is that the bride & groom are not supposed to see each other before the big moment of walking down the aisle at the ceremony...but we decided to be different....since we aren't all that traditional anyways :) Also, the photographer said that since it would be dark by the time the ceremony was over, our only chance to get some good outside shots would be if we did it before the ceremony. So, Pete (the photog) was great at creating that "special moment" of Vince and I seeing each other for the first time. It actually turned out to be a lot of fun this way...and a lot less stressful!!! It allowed our immediate family to be a part of the big moment...and made it more intimate and special that it wasn't in front of a group of people! Plus we got the opportunity to get in some great daytime pics before we headed over to the chapel. I HIGHLY recommend this for couples!!! It was fun...and practical!
