11.06.2009: Our Wedding Ceremony

Our wedding ceremony was at the North Chapel Liberty Station in Point Loma, CA. It is a gorgeous old chapel that used to be owned by the Navy and was the chapel for the Naval Training Base there. Since we got to see each other before the ceremony, the pre-wedding event at the chapel was fun and relaxed! We each (the girls and the guys) had some Almond Champagne toasting in the bride & groom rooms at the back of the chapel. We didn't catch a pic of the girls back there...but the guys got a great one. Our ceremony was very traditional...and non-traditional. Dad walked me down the aisle...preachere gave opening comments and prayers. Then Vince sung a song....which is a little untraditional. He sang "On My Wedding Day" (by Don Henley) which we both love and was very appropriate! He did an amazing job!! We exchanged our vows and did a unity sand ceremony. It was the wedding that I had dreamed about!!!
