Today we really tried to fit a lot into Day 1! Tomorrow Alisa and the kids head to the mountains to do a friendcation with the Cambridge crew. So, since our time is kinda limited, we had to make it work!
To start the day off, we met Ray & Lois for a brunch out in Mesa! It is always fun visiting with them and they absolutely LOVE spending time with the little ones! The kids weren't too chatty this morning but were entertaining enough! And Bear, well he alone is pretty entertaining! It was great seeing them again as always.
After that we did some shopping, then came home for Bear's nap. The kids got in some pool time as well. Andrew was trying to teach Avery how to swim - correctly. She wanted to know how to do all the strokes. He is so patient with her & spent forever with her!
Went "Vincent" got home, Bear ran to him and hugged him, and hugged him, and hugged him. He jut sat there and snuggled for such a long time! It was the cutest thing and so sweet! And made Alisa and I so jealous! Vince just stood there with him and soaked it all up!
We, Vince, Alisa, and I, of course had our first wine night! Its just what we do :)
