We planned it so that we made it to Sonoita in the late afternoon, just before dinner. Ken & MaryAnne were here when we pulled up, and Vince too. Vince is the best! He met us up here with a car full of dinner provisions, cake & ice cream! Thurs was Mom's 60th birthday and even though we didn't get to throw her a big huge party, I think she appreciated that we all showed up to celebrate a few days late! Vince, Alisa and I made some carne & pollo asada and all the Mexican side dishes for dinner. We had a gorgeous "Las Vegas" themed cake made for her. Then we stayed up playing charades with the kiddos. Great way to roll into AZ and start off spring break!
