03.31.2018: Future PGA Professionals

 Well, maybe not.  But with enough whiskey we sure felt like we were well on our way!!!

Today was Brian Greene's birthday and what better way to celebrate with him than all going to play a round of golf!  We played over at Starfire right down the street from us.  It is a nice, easy course that usually isn't too crowded.  We went late in the afternoon so we were the last ones on the course and could just take our time.  A couple people who came up behind us played thru and weren't really happy with our less than stellar play that seemed to take a little longer than most foursomes.  Oh well.  We had a BLAST! So much fun!!! 

After our round, we headed over to Scottsdale Beer Co for dinner and birthday dessert.  Such a fun day with our favorite peeps!

 

03.25.2018: Sunday Dance Competition

We headed south a bit today to the Hays Performing Arts Center for Brianna's Dance comp.    Alisa and Brianna went early this morning and the rest of us took a caravan out there a little bit later.   Brianna had 4 small group dances and she did beautifully of course!  A car of us left before the awards ceremony because I had an early evening flight to get back for.  It was hard leaving the TX crew again today, as always!

03.24.2018: Lazy Texas Afternoon

We spent the rest of the day hanging around the house and doing not much of anything.  Mike had a brisket in the smoker all day - which turned out delicious!  The kids played on the trampoline and we all just hung out in back.  Andrew took us on turns for rides in the Rhino.  (He is a good, but fast driver!)  We had a little family basketball game going on in the driveway.  It has been a while.  I beat Andrew at Horse, but didn't make many baskets (any) in the actual game.  Fun day just hanging out with the family around the house!

 

 

03.24.2018: Avery's Soccer Game

This morning we all woke up early and headed out to the park for Avery's soccer game.  She has had a few games this year so far, but this was the first I got to see!  She seemed a little nervous & timid at first.  You could tell she was happy to have her little cheering section all there!! 

 

She did really good during the game! You could tell these other girls have been playing for a few seasons already.  Some of them were very aggressive and really knew what they were doing!    It was pretty chilly out there this morning and a little foggy...but we were all there in full support! It was a lot of fun watching her play.
