01.08.2018: Air Drop Demo with Israel Defense Forces

Vince has been preparing for the past month for this big demo of their new precision air drop system for the country of Israel's Defense Forces and Ministry of Defense government reps.  I attended the drop to take some pictures and help facilitate the logistics of ushering people around and the "hospitality" piece of it.  It was so much fun and amazing being a part of the day.  And the drop went perfect as well!

There was a ton of coordination that was done before hand.  Vince planned a luxury van rental to pick up the Israeli contingent at their hotel, and transport everyone out to the facility in Coolidge where the drop is staged at the airport there.  When we got there, the plane was already loaded with the cargo that was going to dropped.  The rest of the crew had been there for a few hours that morning prepping the plane, packing parachutes, etc. After a debriefing in the plane itself, everyone caravanned out to the drop zone in the middle of nowhere (literally).  Wamore did a few different drops displaying the different capabilities of their guidance units. The IDF was thoroughly impressed.  We transported back to Phoenix, dropping everyone at the hotel and heading home to change for dinner.

The Arizona Commerce Authority was sponsoring a dinner tonight for the entire contingent.  It was a long day, but it all went smoothly!!
