01.28.2018: Brunching with the Greats

We headed back from Vegas on Sat evening - which is unusual for us since we always stay a whole weekend!!  Mom and Dad had left their car at our house and had flown up there earlier in the week & flew back to Phoenix today as well.  Vince and I drove back just in time to go pick them up at the airport.  They spent the night at our house, and we all went to brunch with Ray & Lois this morning at What's Crackin' in Mesa.  Really good little place!! After brunch, we all headed back to or homes and chilled for the afternoon!

 

01.26.2018: Checking Out Some Styx in Vegas

After the work stuff was done, Vince and I met up with Mom & Dad and Brad & Leonor for a quick get away weekend of fun and a Styx concert.  Its amazing how many songs Styx sings!  It was a great concert - super entertaining!

 

01.25.2018: Vegas Time!!

Vince and I headed up to Vegas today!  We met up with some work people who were there attending a trade show.  One of his colleagues from Poland, Damien, was there for the show too so we got to hang out with him for a little bit as well.  Vince has traveled there a few times and spent time with him and his wife, but I hadn't yet got to meet him!  Finally!  Super nice guy - so glad we got to spend some time with him, and got to hang out with some of Vince's work friends as well.  Those guys are the best!

 

01.25.2018: Vince Speaking at the AZ State Senate

Today, Vince gave a defense briefing to the Arizona State Senate.  He was invited to speak at the Senate Commerce and Public Safety Committee about Wamore and give a little information about their company's role in the defense industry here in AZ.  It was REALLY cool and Vince was honored to be there.  What a great experience....and continuing to expand his political reach - Hearn2020!!

01.21.2018: Early Dinner at Glenns

Vince Jr is leaving early tomorrow morning so when we got back from Sonoita today, we headed over to Glenns for a quick dinner and one last visit with the group.  It was nice to not have to cook, and get to visit with the family for a little bit again!

 

01.20.2018: Quick Trip to Sonoita

This morning, before fully recovering from the night before, and not ready to drink again just yet, we headed down to Sonoita to visit with Mom & Dad and go wine tasting. We dropped Drake off at the house, said hi real quick then headed out to the wineries.  We (apparently recovered quickly) and started off at Lighting Ridge, moved on to Deep Sky, then finished off at Callaghan.  Ken & Marianne met us out at Callaghan for the last bottle.  We shut them down before we headed out to Mom & Dad's for dinner.  We ended up meeting a ton of new people and making a few friends - as only wine tasting allows you to do!

 

We had a fantastic day, drinking more great wine than we needed, and enjoying every drop!

 

 

 

01.19.2018: VJ's Happy Hour to All Night Party

This evening we had a little happy hour gathering for Vince Jr - to celebrate his arrival into AZ as well as his 39th birthday.  Our little happy hour lasted well into the early hours of the morning though!  We had the best time, laughed SO hard, danced, told stories, sang.....not sure what didn't happy tonight!  It was a blast!  Glenn brought VJ a beautiful bottle of wine - which many of you would recognize.  It was a FINE vintage of Boones Farm from Glenn's private collection.  Everyone took a swig of it - right from the bottle (because lets be real - you don't need a glass!). Vince Jr definitely does not come to visit often enough!  We didn't want the party to end!



Took a quick nap to get his second wind.  We had fun taking pics with him.  2 mins later, he jumped up ad was back on the dance floor!
