02.07.2015: Mesa Family Day



 Brent & Andrew had an early game today, so I got my Starbucks and headed East!  Alisa was at a dance competition with Brianna, so it was just Brent, Andrew and Avery.  Avery helped me take some pics, but mostly she just hung out and looked for some snacks!  Luckily Kelly brought her a few things to nibble on while she watched the boys play.  They boys did good, and Andrew threw a TD pass to Matthew too!  Matthew was soooo excited - it was his first!  Although I think Kelly & Brian were more excited! 

 

 

 

 

After Andrew's football game, Brent, Piggy, Avery and I went back to the house to hang out for a few until Brianna's dance comp started.  It was cool being able to hang out with just Brent for a while, and catch up on lots of stuff.  We usually are around everyone else so don't really get to talk much. So it was cool, just hanging out today!  After being at the house for a bit, we got the call from Alisa that Nana was about to go on....so we jumped in the car & raced over there.    They did their Bird Cage performance first and did amazing!  After that was over, we left again to go to lunch and hang out at the park for a while.  It would be a few hours before the next one, so we had some time.

 

When we came back, the girls did their Rio performance.  Nana ROCKED it!!  Probably her best performance of all time.  She did awesome!!!  Everything was on point, including the sassy facial expressions and giant smiles.   It was so cool watching her today.  I feel like she really, really came out of her shell!
