02.28.2015: Last Game of the Season

 

Today was Andrew (and Brent's) last game of the season....the winter season.  This really goes basically year round though!  But last game with this group of boys.  They had beat this team before, so came in pretty confident.  They lost though :(  It was a good game (always is).  I think we have just as much fun on the sidelines as the kids do though!  This week, we had cowbells.  Yup, cowbells.  (And yes, we decided they are just as annoying from our sidelines as they are from all the other teams sidelines!!)

 

02.27.2015: Lady Titans Reunion

 

Today was Lyn's birthday and she came to Scottsdale with Jonahlie for the weekend.  Jonahlie was here for a medical conference and invited Lyn and Pat's wife (Janice) and their friend Jen.  Their other friend Mia lives here in Scottsdale also.  The 5 of us, minus Jonahlie, met at the Westin Kierland for a spa day. It was so much fun!  We all got massages, then hung out in the spa, steam rooms, laid by the pool, floated the lazy river, got drinks at the bar, and watched people ride/surf in the wave pool.  It was so cool!  Literally spent ALL day just hanging out there with the girls!

 

That evening we all met back up at Ocean Prime for dinner....after going home and getting showered and done up!  We had a great dinner together and was so much fun catching up (and meeting new friends!)  Can't wait till they come back to town to do this again!  It was definitely a #treatyoself weekend!!

02.25.2015: Lonely Puppy

Since Vince started working, this one has been all sad and mopey.  Guess I'm just not as entertaining...even though I take her for walks, feed her, talk to her, harrass her, and let her follow my all over the house all day.  Around 5ish, she goes and sits by the front door waiting for someone though...or maybe she likes the sunlight coming in...who knows.  But she sits here & stars out the window until you-know-who gets home!

 

02.21.2015: Football Funday

 

Football Funday....Andrew had a 10am game today...2nd to last game of this season.  The team lost, but played pretty well.  Defense struggled with pulling flags, but offense did pretty well today!  This was another HUGE team that preferred to tackle our players instead of pull flags.

 

I also broke out my old camera from retirement today.  Reminded me how much I still love it.  Gonna have to use it more often :)
