Mom and Dad were out in AZ for the weekend, and we planned a dinner with Ray & Lois, as we hadn't seen them yet this year. We met them at their favorite little Mexican place Tia Rosa's. Vince and I only seem to go out there when they come to town, but we really like that place! We sat outside on their patio under little heaters and by the fire pits. It was such a gorgeous evening, and only a tad too cool. But this is what we live in AZ for!! Patio dining under a gorgeous sky of stars in January!
After dinner we went back to Ray & Lois's for some coffee, and Vince's favorite pineapple cake. We were stuffed, but COULD NOT turn down some of Lois's pineapple cake! It was fun catching up with them and hearing about the past summer & winter's stories. Ray had some pretty hilarious fishing stories that had to do with a big sturgeon that he caught in the lake. Yes, a sturgeon....of which he called all his kids (at 10pm AZ time) to verify that it really was what he remembered it was. Too funny! We had some good laughs! Glad they are back in town for a bit...looking forward to more evenings like this.

Lois taught them how to play this last year & they absolutely love it. They could not wait to come play it again with them!
