11.30.2013: Vince's Birthday Celebration Dinner

We started the night out at the Tequila Bar.  We were the only ones in there so ended up getting some special treatment and getting to try all the tequila we wanted! Even though we aren't huge tequila drinkers, it was a lot of fun.

 

After tequila happy hour, we went to the Italian Restaurant with Mom & Dad for dinner for a nice quite dinner.  Rose was watching all the kiddos for the night & they tried to come invade the restaurant (because Drake wanted some pizza), but when they got there, they decided against it since there were so many "couples" dining in there.  So we enjoyed our dinner, just the 4 of us!

The kids were all hanging out back in the villa by the time we got back.  The other adults all went to the sushi bar for dinner...then met us back at the tequila bar afterwards.

11.30.2013: The Morning After....



We knew that Sat was going to be a day of relaxing.  We woke up for a late breakfast, and ended up wandering the resort and spending some quality time by the pools.  We really tried not to do much but enjoy the resort, and eat, and drink.  I think we succeeded!

11.29.2013: The Best Moment of the Night

WE DID THIS....

 

At the end of the night, Vince and I were standing off on the side of the dance floor talking to Luke about his parents (who recently passed away), and ended up in a big group hug.  Vince Jr saw this going on and ran over to join in...then Mom & Dad saw and ran over to join in.  Next thing we know everyone wanted to be a part of the group hug.  Justin Timberlake "Mirrors" was playing, and Christina and Lex got in the center.  We swayed together as a big group hug around them for the entire length of the song.  Besides the actually getting married part, this was by far the best moment of the night.  Every time I hear that song, it takes me back to that moment.  It was such a perfect end to the evening!!

 

After the music ended, we moved to the beach to light some sparklers for the official "send-off"

11.29.2013: Lextina Reception

It was at the nicest restaurant on the property, and Christina & Lex bought out the whole restaurant, even though we only were out on the patio area. People were walking by just wishing they were part of our party.  The waiters literally said this was the most fun they had too!  We even had some wedding crashers...  They were hilarious!

 The Father-Daughter Dance turned into the Mother-Son Dance too
