12.17.2011: Durbin Family Holiday Party

On Saturday, Vince and I woke up super early and drove back to Riverside.  We were planning to go to the Durbin Christmas/Holiday party at Gina & Bills house that afternoon.  Dad worked in the morning, and Mom spent the morning with Gramma & Papa.  Once we all gathered back at the house, we hit the road for Murrieta. 

It was really nice because most all of the Durbins were at the party.  Gina wanted to "recreate" the staircase picture that we took YEARS ago at a former holiday party.  The thought of recreating the picture, and the reality were a little different....only because our family has quadrupled!!  There were 10x's as many of us.....and we are lucky the stairs were built well!  It was a ton of fun to all cram into the staircase and try to get this picture done though.  Unfortunately, Brent & family and Kenny didn't make it out for the family photo :(  However at a later date you might see their faces all photoshopped into the picture!

It was so nice visiting with all the cousins and family there though.  Tara & Jeremy were newly pregnant, Nicole is newly college graduated, all the others had crazy work & life stories that were fun sharing, and there were many many more little ones running around since the last big get-together.  We definitely need to do that more often!
