12.05.2010: Cassy vs Food

You have not been challenged by Food until you get the chance to try one of the best, most exciting dishes ever. This restaurant, Hash House A Go-Go....amazing!! We know all about the Hash House & its amazing menu....if you do not know about it, please check it out. Their website: http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/ There are only a few locations...first made famous (to my knowledge) in San Diego when I lived there. Think that is the original...been there forever! There would be lines down the street to get into this place....and one of the few places that is well worth the wait...no matter what it is!

They open a location at the M Hotel, just off the strip in south Las Vegas. Love the M hotel anyways....so this is just a PLUS. Mom and Dad had been there before on their last trip...so I was very jealous about not being there yet! So, Sunday morning, we headed down the street to M....and "heaven on a plate" :)

Immediately drawn to anything Benedict, my easy choice was the Fried Chicken Benedict. A little description for you: Andy's sage fried chicken w/ fresh spinach, hardwood smoked bacon, market tomato, griddled mozzarella, chipotle cream and scrambled eggs. If that wasn't enough, this was the item featured on the tv show Man vs Food. Adam tried this, and beat it, I am sure. That gave it an extra reason to try in my book. It was AMAZZZZING!! Although it could have fed half the table, I was able to polish off a pretty large portion of it. The chipotle cream sauce was to die for...literally...I could have drank it until comatose. That switch that we have that tells you to stop eating....lets just say that my switch was malfunctioning during this meal. Vince had to take my plate away.

Although the picture does not even do it justice....just seeing it, I want to eat the photo because it was truly that good!

Fried Chicken Benedict

Oh, everyone else's meal was off the charts as well....huge portions, delish flavors that create fireworks in your mouth!!! So amazing good. Have I said it was amazing yet?? I will be back...and I will challenge you again Mr Fried Chicken Benedict!! Oh, and next time I will win...and I am also getting a Bloody Mary!! YUMMMMO!!!!! I missed out this time...but that will not happen twice in a row.
