10.11.2008: Recoup Time in Temecula

Saturday during the day, we kinda just relaxed around the resort. Some of us were a little hung over from the night before...more just tired since we only got a few hours of sleep. We all went to breakfast at a little Mexican place, then headed back to the casitas for naps and down time. Vince, Alisa, and I went shopping to do what else but buy more alcohol (since we cleaned out our supply the night before). When we got back, we took a little walk thru the vineyards on the property, as well as checked out the pool area. GORGEOUS! Picked some grapes for the kiddos to eat...little do they know what would have become of those grapes had they not eaten them...VINO!

South Coast Winery is a gorgeous resort smacked dab in the middle of Temecula wine country. Growing up in Riverside I had no idea how beautiful it was out there. The only few times we ventured to Temecula was for high school sports. Although in high school, wine tasting was never really an option for us. However, had I have known, I would have been visiting back home much more often once I had left!!
