Yes, the dog thinks it is summer. She decided to start shedding in the middle of winter. What is wrong with this dog?! This was just one day of brushing. We do this everyday for about 2 weeks until she looks like a scraggly coyote. In the meantime, since it is still cold out, she shivers every night because she is cold. Her schedule is wacky. Guess Akitas don't understand AZ weather!!
