12.22.2009: Shootin' & Stuff

So Drake spent his last day in Riverside doing his favorite things...shootin, picking oranges, making orange juice, playing catch w/the football, shootin, and playing more catch. He had to leave to go back to AZ the next morning and definitely got the most out of his stay in Riverside!! He probably wore Dad out playing with him....but it was his favorite thing to do because "Ralph is SO MUCH fun to play with!" As if Dad was his new toy :) But it was great...Dad took him shooting, picking oranges...and even helped him surprise us and make Vince and I orange juice...which was really good! He also made us grapefruit juice (because he knows that is my favorite)....this was extra special because he had to go out to the back 40 to get the grapefruits...ie, outside of the fenced-in yard. This was a big deal because he saw some coyotes walking around out there (in the middle of the day earlier) and it terrified him to possibly encounter these coyotes out there. We all also spent hours in the driveway playing catch...Ken, Vince, Dad, Drake and I. It was fun...and my arm was really sore the next day! :)

Drake was sooooooo sad to leave all the fun he was having in Riverside, but knew he had to go back to AZ for his Christmas #3 with his mom. We were glad we got to enjoy him for a few days and have our own Christmas celebrations with him as well!!!!
