07.13.2015: Dinner, Awards Ceremony & Charades

After we got back to the Rio and showered up, we headed down to the buffett to stuff our faces with all the food you can imagine!  They even brought us all glasses of champagne since we were Diamond Club VIPs.  (Olivia even scored a whole bottle from the restaurant mgr!)

After filling our bellies, we headed up to Mom & Dad's room for the awards ceremony.  Kinda funny how this year EVERYONE got an award except Mom & Dad.  Hmmmm...fishy.  Brent got the captains award this year, so is in charge of caring for the magical sailboat until the next houseboat trip.  Kelsea won the coveted & much desired "Best Meal" award.  We say Kelsea because she is really the one who made the crab spaghetti (Ken was there for the support functions)!  It was either that, or Mom just wanted to avoid the controversy of Kenny winning every year because he is the favorite. :)  I am going with either one of those 2.

After awards, the kiddos wanted to play a never ending game of charades.  And by never-ending, I mean never-ending!  :)  They could have played all night!!

The big kids went downstairs to win some money later.  Mom was on a run tonight & won a lot.  I am surprised she ever went to bed with the run she was on and wasn't still sitting there when we woke up in the am!  :)  I had to check out...I was exhausted.  The last 3 days of no sleep finally caught up with me!

07.13.2015: Until Next Time

07.13.2015: Founders Rooftop Wine Club Meeting

Well, it is time to commence with the annual rooftop wine club meeting.  All original founding members are present & accounted for.  Through the years, we have added additional members, but we have never been without the 3 founders of this exclusive club - Vince, Alisa and I.  This year, the 3 of us held a special meeting to discuss the future of the club and the direction we would like to take it.  It might be necessary to meet in different locations once in a while, given the outlook of the next few years....however, no matter what, we will always have our annual founders meeting.  Even though we have multiple meetings throughout the year, these rooftop meetings are by far the most important, and most mandatory.

This year, we are meeting over some Brangelina Rose'. Every year it varies, but is always either pink or white.

07.13.2015: The Shortest Ride

The ride back to the marina is the shortest ride on the planet!!!!!!!  I swear it gets shorter & shorter every year.  I think we just really, really don't want the trip to end.  There is so much we need to fit in on the trip home.  Packing, cleaning, eating, enjoying, drinking, relaxing....trying to curb our depression.

The ride back was pretty uneventful and smooth.  Perfect weather (although it ALWAYS is on the way home), good water, no boat problems.  Smooth & easy...which I am thankful for, for Scott, who is driving the houseboat back...which I am sure is stressful for him.  So, for that, we are grateful!

We think she is contemplating kindergarten that she is about to start when we get home.  She sat there by herself staring off into the horizon forever.  If we only knew....
