05.21.2016: Daddy-Daughter Dance

 

Ok, even though the girls dancing is sooo cute, this was truly the highlight of the day and deserves its own post! 

 

The Daddy-Daughter Dance. 

 

It was shocking that Brent agreed to do it in the first place....but once he did, he OWNED it.  Like literally was the hit of the group.  He was ready for his solo and wanted more complicated dance moves.  It was HILARIOUS!  And really cool.  He actually got to perform twice...once with Brianna and once with Avery.  The littles all performed in the morning, and the older kids in the afternoon.  Since he had one of each, he did 2.  It was awesome, and the crowd was cheering them on extremely loud.  So much fun!

 

Brent even got some flower swag at the end of his performance :)

 

 

 

05.21.2016: RDA Spring Recital

Revolution Dance Academy held their spring recital today.  This is the first time ALL the girls in the studio get to dance - even the non-competitive ones.  Avery had 2 performances today, ballet and tap, and rocked them both! She was soooo cute and just lit up on stage.  Not that I ever doubted her stage presence, but she was pretty amazing.  Ate it up!  Brianna does her thing like a pro!  She had about a million performances today.  Some, we have never seen, since they are not company dances (non-competition).  This was the first time they "performed" most of those.  Again, all flawless! 

 

Ok, get ready for picture overload.  I just couldn't decide on a few, so you get a TON.

 

Tailgating in the parking lot!  We brought coolers of beverages (yes, alcoholic as any good tailgate would have), sandwiches, chips, fruit, and dessert goodies!  The only thing we didn't bring was CHAIRS!  So we stood :)

05.15.2016: Happy Birthday Little Love

Such a busy weekend, we didn't make it over to Mesa for Avery's birthday  We were going to do a family bday thing next weekend when Mom & Dad are here.  But, still have to acknowledge the little one & her birthday! :)

05.14.2016: Going for the Gold

Today was the district finals and championship wrestling match for Drake.  He had 3 matches within his weight division, and won them all.  Overall points, for all wrestlers in his weight division, he scored the highest and took home the GOLD!  Sooooo cool!  They were pretty exciting matches, and he truly dominated all of them - even against the bigger and more experienced wrestlers.  So proud!!!  It has been a fun season watching him learn to wrestle and progress.  Can't wait for next year already!
