This morning Vince had a few quick meetings then we headed over to the convention center to meet with his work people and setup the booth. He didn't bring much to this show so it didn't take too long. On the way back over to the hotel, we walked along the boardwalk checking out the glamorous boats docked in the bay. It was interesting watching the military assault vehicles come in and cruise around and they were testing the area to get ready for the demos the next day.
For dinner we just hung out at the restaurant just outside the hotel along the boardwalk & bay. It had great food, amazing happy hour bourbon specials, and hundreds of TVs. We tried a new bourbon from American Freedom Distillery. It became our drink for the week! The most exciting thing was that the Tampa Bay hockey team was in the playoff and the bar got PACKED with people watching it. Their arena was right across the street, so it was a popular place for hockey watching. The NBA basketball playoffs were also going on, however not one single TV was turned to basketball!! Just hockey. Oh well. We got our fill of hockey for the year. It was pretty exciting watching everyone else get excited though. Tampa Bay did win, so they were playing here across the street in 2 days! Yay.
