09.25.2016: The AMMMMAZING Tonto Bridge

Vince and I decided to make a resolution to try to start exploring more of AZ! There are so many amazing spots in this state that we hardly ever go to, and some we have never heard of.  We need to start checking them out during little day trips - so today we did!

We headed to Tonto Natural Bridge. I had found some pics of it online, and found it was just about 45 mins from the house - so a perfect Sunday morning trip that would get us back just in time for some afternoon football.  That, and the "hike" was a simple easy, non-committal one that I got Vince to agree to (Mr. Hike Hater) ☺

So we get there right before it opens so we are the first ones in there.  We found our way around and were SHOCKED at this amazing place!  One little area we explored had a hidden little waterfall thing along the wall. It was cold and pretty and wet!

Then we headed to the main bridge area. It was an easy hike down to the bridge, and once we got there we were in awe.  Neither of us imagined it would be this cool or pretty!  We called it the Arizona Avatar! There was a floating tree with water falling down from it.  So, so pretty!
