Today we went to both of the kids schools to register them and do all the check-in procedures. Andrew's school was a little overwhelming for him, but he picked all his classes, went and bought himself a school notebook/calendar, met with his counselor, etc. We didn't really walk around the school much, but it seemed HUGE.
Next we went over to the girl's elementary school. It was equally big but didn't seem as overwhelming. The kdis and I walked around the classrooms and cafeteria a bit while Brent & Alisa did all the check-in stuff.
After the obligatory school stuff, we drove over to the property to show it to me & the kids for the first time. It was pretty with all the oak trees on it, but hard to visually picture where everything would go! The big clearing in the back area was where Brent & Alisa's house would be, which was a nice area & would be completely surrounded by trees so super private. Mike & Olivia's house would go closer to the front of the property by the road, which was harder to visualize, but could see where it would be.

After seeing the property, we just drove around little bit, and stopped into Dairy Queen for an afternoon snack! YUMMM....
