Well, my baby cousin just got married. Craziness thinking it doesn't seem that long ago that she was just a baby and tagging along with us everywhere we went! The wedding was up in San Francisco at the Westin in downtown. Everyone flew up this morning. Because Obama was in town, Air Force One as at the airport and shutdown the rest of the airport for a few hours. Both our plane and Mom & Dad's plane were delayed. We started panicking because we didn't have much time to get ready as it was before the wedding. Vince and I got there about a 1/2 hr before the wedding started, ran to Gina's room, changed and got ready! Mom and Dad got in about 15mins before the wedding was supposed to start. Checked in, did a quick change, and headed down. We all grabbed a drink and headed to the ceremony.
It was a quick ceremony (like 5 mins), but hit all the basics - I do, I do...we married! Lets go upstairs and party!
The reception was up on the top floor in one of their restaurants. It was BEAUTIFUL. It started with cocktail hour in the bar area before dinner. Great views of the city, full open bar (with premium liquor), delish appetizers, and fun mingling with everyone.
Dinner was equally amazing. Nicole got up and gave a speech, which shocked our whole table! Mostly known for being fairly shy around the cousins, we had no idea of her wild and outgoing side!! Nicole & David did the father-daughter dance to the song The Wobble! Which was hilarious watching them dance to that!!
After dinner, mostly everyone got out on the dance floor....even Scott! We had SOOOO much fun. We basically took the floor over for the night. We stayed until they literally kicked us out. Which only meant we went to the bar downstairs to continue...which led to shots, and all kinds of other malarkey. We didn't end the night until about 3am, when we headed back to the rooms to crash, and pray that we didn't wake up too miserable the next day.
