12.28.07: WWF in Arizona

After a long drive back to AZ after Christmas, we spent some time relaxing at home. We took all the kids out to go bowling on Friday, but when we get to D&B's, they had no bowling alley :( We went to a different one than usual because we wanted to take Alisa by where Brent will be working. Shoulda called....oh well. So the kids just played video games for a little bit, then we ate lunch, then hit the road back home. We spent the night in, since Alisa had some packing to do and a really early flight. The kids decided to make it interesting and start WWF in the room. It was fun watching them!!!!!

For Christmas Eve, we went to Gramma & Papa's house for the tradition dinner and gift exchange. It was fun, as always, and so nice to have a few little ones running around to entertain everyone :) I didn't take my camera there, but here are a few pics from afterwards of Andrew and Brianna...

12.23.07: Cookie Decorating

Sunday we went to Art & Kathy's for Christmas Brunch, which was delicious! We had a good time over there visiting with some of the Durbins. After an afternoon nap, Gina and Bill came over and we decorated cookies....a favorite Christmas tradition in the Durbin house. The kids seemed to have fun with it, although, as usual, Mom gets stuck frosting the last few. She made Alisa and I stick around and help this time though :( Heehee!

12.19.07: Pre-Christmas Party in AZ

Alisa and the kids flew in to AZ this morning and we were planning a Pre-Christmas party for tonight. Since Kenny and Nicole couldn't make it to CA for Christmas this year because of Kenny's new job, we celebrated early. It also gave Vince the opportunity to celebrate Christmas with his kids since they would be in Texas and we would be in CA with the Durbins.

The evening was a lot of fun, and it seemed like everyone had a great time. Thanks to Kenny and Nicole for all the wonderful gifts!!! Even though I "never" get lost, they got me a GPS! I LOVE it, as it has maps of all the states, points of interest, etc. It will definitely come in handy with all the traveling we do for both work and fun!!! Vince got S-Bucks and tons of board games....our favorite evening past time...besides wine...even better when you combine the two!!

The kids had a blast opening their gifts as well! All the boys fought over Brianna's Barbie though...who'da thought that would be the hit of the night!!! :)

Kenny and Nicole had to head back on Thurs, and we relaxed and got ready for the drive to CA on Friday morning! Lots of opportunites for more pics too.....

12.01.07: Happy Birthday Vince!!!

Drake and I took Vince to lunch for his birthday. We went to Grayhawk Country Club (favorite place to feed the fish). It was a VERY rainy day...our favorite!!!!! We had a great time!!!

11.22.07: Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving, I had a few people over for both lunch and dinner. It was an all day event of eating and drinking and we had a great time!!! Oh, and lots of pics! :)

11.11.07: Chargers vs Colts Game

On Sunday, some of us went to the Chargers/Colts football game down in San Diego. We even got lucky and got some rain while we were there!! Some of you might think that is a bad thing, but really there is nothing better than a little drizzle while watching a game!! It pretty much sprinkled the entire time. It was a blast!! Oh, and the Chargers actually won (somehow) which made it all even better! Don't ask how that all happened, but it made it a wonderful day! A looooong, but wonderful day!!

11.10.07: Pre-Thanksgiving Party

Sat night we all got together for a little pre-Thanksgiving party at the Durbins. It was a fun night, as we got to celebrate both Thanksgiving and Bill's birthday! Some of the boys went and played paintball in the morning, and the rest of us got ready for the party! We got to make good use of Mom and Dad's new keg, we all got to meet the newest addition to the Spark clan, we got to visit with most of the Brechbills and Durbins who were able to come, and we got to eat and eat and eat! It was all capped off by an RV catching fire down the street and us standing in the driveway watching the flames! All in all, another great party by Bonnie & Ralph!!! :) Here are a few pics....I didn't get a chance to take too many though! Sorry!!

9.30.07: Chargers ~ Chiefs Game in San Diego
