09.17.2016: Meeting Baby Maxwell Raj

So excited to make it out to meet the newest baby in the family! Maxwell Raj....

He is sooo cute! You can already tell he is so different from Lennox.

 

We spent the day & night at their house so we got to have our fill of the kiddos.  Lennox is completely crazy!  His personality is hilarious.  He is the perfect mix of Lex and Christina....

 

Tony & Meena came over for dinner tonight and they boys had scotch - then got in the hot tub! It was funny - had to be there!!

 

 

09.09.2016: Biking for Brews with the Boys

Tonight we decided we needed to take Greg down to Zipps for happy hour - by bike.  He whined and complained - well, all the boys did.  They said it was too hot.  Geesh! Biking creates a nice breeze that perfectly cools you down - and gets you ready for an ice cold brew! 

 

So we headed down to Zipps.  It is only about a 3mile ride there, so not too bad.  It was fun, we had drinks and some apps, then hit the trails for the 3 miles home.  Fun, fun!!

 



09.03.2016: Finally Finished Flooring!

I finally finished up the flooring in the master bathroom at the rental house!  YAY!  Felt like it took me forever, but I love the way it turned out :)

 



09.02.2016: SURPRISE, Thelma Turns 84!!

Well, it wasn't a surprise that Thelma was actually turning 84, the rest of the evening was a surprise to her.  Vince, Greg, Drake and I went over to her house to have our annual "spritzer" with her for her birthday.  We told her we were taking her to dinner as well.  What she didn't know was that the rest of the AZ Hearns were waiting at the restaurant for us to show up! 

 

We went to El Encanto up in Cave Creek - it is a good Mexican restaurant and kind of a central location for everyone.  To say that she was surprised would be an understatement!  She truly was!  Happy surprised, of course!  It was fun spending the evening with the Hearns and not worrying about anyone cleaning up or hosting the party.  We stayed until the place kicked us out - so I would say that we had a good time!

 

09.02.2016: Boys Golf Outing

Greg came into town late last night and the 3 boys (Greg, Brian Greene & Vince) went golfing this am. It's their little tradition when Greg comes into town and they seem to have a blast together doing it!  I get to hear all the stories (lies) after they get back. Although none of them can brag too much because the other ones are quick to call them out on it! ;)

 

08.27.2016: Vegas Baby, Vegas!!!

Vince and I met Mom & Dad up in Vegas for the weekend for a little Journey concert and gambling weekend.  They were in need of a get-away and we are always game to join them!  Journey, of course, was an amazing concert as always!

 

Usually Mom is the ridiculously lucky one gambling in Vegas.  I NEVER have luck so am pretty cautious. Tonight after the concert, I was playing one of my favorite machines at Ballys (not really expecting to win).  I hit a spin on the Wheel of Fortune (dollar machine) and won $1,000.  Soexcited!  Took a pic of it, then my phone died.  Dad came by to witness just in time and went to get Vince.  When they got back, I had cashed out and switched over to my favorite Megabucks machine.  I always throw $100 in there each trip.  Sure enough, I won on that one too!!!  $3,400 spin!!!  Yup, I'm basically rich. Haha!  After Dad & Vince took their ticket cashing fees/taxes, we played a little more on those machines then called it a night.  Never am I usually that lucky!!!

 

Funnier was the next day for lunch, we went to PFChangs.  My fortune cookie said that I will soon unlock the secret to immense wealth.  Hilarious....just a day late!  I was hoping it meant I would win again - the BIG one....but no such luck.  Still felt pretty darn lucky this trip!!
