05.13.2016: Cambridge Talent Show

Today was the Cambridge School Talent Show.  This year, Brianna performed her solo, and did a group dance as well.  This was the first time that most of the Cambridge teachers, parents and kids have seen her solo.  With the entire school knowing they are moving, to say that it was an emotional moment would be an understatement.  Most of the moms and teachers were bawling by the end.  Andrew lost it and "had to go to the bathroom" half way through.  It was tough.  I was filming, and crying.  Alisa was filming and crying. Everyone around me was crying.  It was a moment.  She performed it so well though. 

 

Brianna, Cali, Hannah, and Julia performed their small group dance as well.  This is probably my favorite of all her group dances.  It is so unique and perky and fun.  I love it!!  Gonna miss watching this one -- good thing I filmed it about100 times so I can watch it whenever I want :)

 

 

This little one has a birthday this weekend....so gets to celebrate at school all day today.

05.07.2016: Starbound!!

One of the last dance competitions for this girl!  At least here in Mesa.  She did AMAZING as always.  I don't think I can watch her solo without crying, but each time it gets harder and harder, knowing her time here in AZ is nearing the end.  I LOVE watching her dance and especially with these amazing girls.  She has such a great group of friends here and the have all grown together in this studio - and at school.  I never would have thought that Brianna would come out of her shell to this extent.  So much credit to her dance teachers and friends here at RDA.

 

Anyways, Brianna did amazing, as usual.  And as usual, it was a very FULL day of dance today.  Kelsea drove down for the day as well to watch her in action and visit with the fam.  And hold Barrett!! :)

 

 

 

 

05.05.2016: Drake Wrestling

Another evening of Drake wrestling.  This was an away match and the gym was PACKED.  One of the school in tonight's meet was HUGE.  As in they probably had 30 kids on their team....including a girl!  Who was no joke, by the way!  It amazes me how many people come to the wrestling matches and how lively the crowd is!  It is insanely loud!!  This meet was by far the craziest.  Another win in the books though!!

05.04.2016: Hanging with the Little Chunk

Headed out to Mesa today to hang with the littlest Durbins.  Pretty sure Barrett loves me now :)  He smiles and laughs. Alisa says he does it to everyone, but I think he saves some special ones for me haha!!  He really is a happy little guy...turning into a little chunk!!

 

05.03.2016: Beast Mode



Today Drake had another wrestling match.  Just one again because only one other kid in his class.  It was a tough match though...the toughest he would face all season.  Here is the video link to it:  https://youtu.be/oN9UlPEJFWI

 

He held his own. The kid was bigger and a year old, with much more experience.  Drake actually lost a point for picking him up and body slamming him at one point.  It was a good move though!
